CONJUGAÇÃO DO VERBO NA TERCEIRA PESSOA DO SINGULAR

Quando o verbo termina com Y precedido de consoante, o Y é trocado por ies.

Infinitivo Terceira Pessoa Singular

Ex: study => studies fly => flies carry => carries

Quando o verbo termina com Y precedido de vogal, não troca o Y, apenas acrescenta o S.

Ex: say => says enjoy => enjoys buy => buys
